Beverly is a longstanding member of Sigma Tau Delta. In 2021, she was also inducted into the prestigious Omicron Delta Kappa Honor Society. In 2021, she was also inducted in and will be featured in 2021-2022 The Who’s Who in America by the Marquis Who’s Who Publication Board. Since 2007, she has been featured in the Cambridge Who’s Who, and in 2010, became the recipient of the Strathmore Who’s Who as a lifetime member in both. She is also a CDA member and has graduated from PLTI (Parent Leadership Training Institute) while holding licenses, and credentials, and is continuously honored with awards.
In 2013, she became the Senior Pastor of the Greater Bethlehem Temple Pentecostal Church, Inc. in Rochester, New York where their mantra is “Where everything becomes Greater.” This unique building is one of the Underground Railroad sites. As a teacher and preacher of the Bible, she invests in families, feeds the hungry, serves in the local soup kitchens, and is an avid presence in Clergy on Patrol; a citywide initiative that allows the residents to observe ministers and the local police, walking and talking with them, in their neighborhood.

Pastor Beverly J. Renford
Pastor Beverly J. Renford was born the seventh of 15 children to the late Bishop Samuel I. Rumph & Elect Lady Priscilla M. Rumph, on August 11th, 1958, in Detroit, Michigan. At the age of five, God impressed it upon her heart and began to call her while teaching her His voice. She was soon baptized, in Jesus’ name, and at the age of eleven, received the gift of tongues.
For many years she assisted her parents in ministry. She says, “Momma and Daddy introduced me to their God, but I took it further, and now He is my God.”
June 1976, she graduated from Penfield High School. On August 22, 1981, she married Mark, and to this union, eight children were born: Brooke, Bridgette, Rachel, Nicole, Benjamin, Courtney, Anastasia, and Markaysia. To date, she has seven grandchildren: Shiloh and Sage, Brayden and Bryan, along with Preston, Penelope and Priya.
In May of 2021, she graduated Summa Cum Laude from SUNY Brockport College with a master’s degree in English Creative writing. In May 2018, she earned her Bachelor’s Degree and in June 2015, she earned an Associate’s Degree from Monroe Community College in Early Childhood Education. In 2017 she was inducted into the National Honor Society, and in 2021, she was inducted into the International Honor society.
